Kristen Stewart gives it some leg at On The Road's Cannes premiere... as boyfriend Robert Pattinson shows his support on the red carpet

The upcoming film adaptation of American classic novel On The Road features an ensemble of hot Hollywood actors.
But at the movie's world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival tonight, all eyes were on Kristen Stewart as she stole the show in her sexy split dress.
The actress, 22, showed a lot more flesh than usual in a cream, embroidered Balenciaga gown with a thigh-high split on the left.

In contrast, her co-star Kirsten Dunst, 30, was covered up in a fuchsia Christian Dior column gown.

Also at the premiere was Stewart's boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson, who arrived separately, looking dapper in a black suit.

While he was happy to pose for photos, he took a step back to let his girlfriend share in the glory with her co-stars.
As well as Stewart, Pattinson, 26, was also supporting his best friend Tom Sturridge, who plays Carlo Marx in the film.
London-born Sturridge, 26, is the fiancé of Sienna Miller, who is seven months pregnant with their first child.

Also at the premiere were their co-stars Danny Morgan (Ed Dunkel), Viggo Mortensen, and leading men Garrett Hedlund (Dean Moriarty) and Sam Riley, who plays struggling young writer Sal Paradise.
On The Road, which also stars Amy Adams and Elisabeth Moss, is a film adaptation of the 1957 'Beat Generation' novel by Jack Kerouac.

Dean (Riley) and Sal (Hedlund) are on a journey through post-war America in search of 'it'.

Also on the red carpet were Argentine model Luisana Lopilato and American pin-up Kate Upton.

On The Road, which is in competition at the Festival, is released in UK cinemas on September 21.

Say what you like about Kanye West, he's a veritable Renaissance Man of the hip hop world.
He's got Grammys coming out of his ears, a successful and critically acclaimed fashion line (which caused a fuss in Paris of ALL places) and now, he's launching an art film in Cannes.
It's pretty, pretty exciting, Cruel Summer opened tonight on seven different screens and will remain open - like an installation - for the next two days.

So it's unsurprising that his 31-year-old girlfriend Kim Kardashian looks pretty chuffed to be along for the ride.
At the weekend she took a backseat at the after-party for his Watch the Throne concert at London's O2 Arena in a sexy but low-key black dress.

But tonight, Kim dressed to impress, and more importantly, to complement his man on his big night.

Cruel Summer the movie premieres tonight in Cannes, France, and will be presented at various show times for the general public on May 24-25.

Cruel Summer the album currently has no release date, but is expected to hit store shelves this... you guessed it, summer.
But there's nothing harsh about the early sunshine Kim and Kanye are enjoying, they were spotted wandering down the Croisette earlier after picking up ice cream at Upside Down.

She may have been sporting a floor-length gown, but that wasn’t about to stop Rose McGowan from showing some skin.
The actress donned a billowing purple gown that flashed a lot of flesh when she hit the red carpet at a charity dinner in Monte Carlo this evening.
The frock boasted both a plunging neckline and a split up the side, allowing the 38-year-old to display her curves while also showing off her slender legs.

The layered strapless dress was made of indigo fabric with a sheer violet overlay, and the skirt was cut into a tulip style to add to the movement of the outfit when Rose walked.
But the gown’s side-split was so daring that Rose had to carefully position her black clutch bag so as not to reveal too much as she negotiated the red carpet.
The Charmed star teamed the flowing frock with an eye-catching gold tooth necklace and a pair of black peep toe heels.

While many celebrities are in nearby Cannes, Rose headed over to Monte Carlo for the evening to attend the event.
The gala was organised by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the William J. Clinton Foundation and was held at the Hotel de Paris.
Diane Kruger was also in attendance, looking stylish as ever in Prabal Gurung confection as she posed up with beau Joshua Jackson.
