Still cutting an athletic figure: Christopher Dean, 53, shows off impressive physique on the beach

By Emily Sheridan
It's been 18 years since he retired from competitive skating, but Christopher Dean is still cutting an athletic figure.
Enjoying a holiday in Hawaii, the retired ice skater, 53, showed off his impressive physique and toned torso.
Strolling along the beach in Maui wearing nothing but a pair of swimming trunks, its a far cry from the usual cold environment we're used to seeing him in.

The father-of-two, who turned 54 next month, is holidaying with friends and family at the five-star Hilton Grand Wailea Resort and Spa.
Nowhere to be seen was his girlfriend, Dancing On Ice colleague Karen Barber, who is currently busy teaching skating in the UK.
The pair have been dating since January 2011, soon after Barber split from husband Stephen Pickavance after 21 years of marriage.

Later this month, Dean will team up with long-time skating partner Jayne Torvill to perform at an Olympic Flame Ice Gala in Nottingham.
The pair will dance at the city's National Ice Centre, alongside 250 other skaters, on June 28.
They have also filmed a one-off Olympic special of Dancing On Ice.

Former athletes Colin Jackson CBE, Tessa Sanderson CBE and Olga Korbu will be taken out of their comfort zone as they skate in front of a live studio audience for Dancing On Ice: Going For Gold.
Torvill said last month: 'We recorded a Dancing on Ice special and that’s going to go out just before the Olympic games and we had all Olympians as our celebrities.
