Refreshed Demi returns from rehab: Moore pictured arriving back in LA on a private jet

She had a dramatic breakdown five weeks ago – but Demi Moore’s return to Los Angeles was a much more understated affair.
The actress arrived by private jet in the dead of night following more than a month in rehab.
She had remained in hiding after leaving the unnamed clinic, holidaying on the private Caribbean island of Parrot Cay, where her ex-husband Bruce Willis owns a house.

And the break appeared to have done her good, as she appeared tanned and healthy in a baggy white jumper and denim shorts.

Demi was accompanied by close friend Eric Buterbaugh and was met at the airport by a woman who she rushed to embrace after descending the stairs of the plane.
It was the first time the 49-year-old has been seen in public since she was hospitalised after having a seizure and collapsing in January.

She had reportedly been smoking ‘an incense-like substance’ as well as inhaling nitrous oxide, better known as laughing gas.
The incident came at the end of a difficult time for Miss Moore, who split from husband Ashton Kutcher, 33, in November after he was accused of cheating on her.
Ashton, 33 and her ex-husband Bruce Willis both visited her shortly afterwards at the home she shares with her three daughters, Rumer, 23, Scout, 20, and Tallulah, 17.

The 911 call made from Demi's home was released, in which a caller says the actress appeared to be convulsing.
The actress had sparked concern with her plummeting weight during her public appearances in the weeks following her split from Kutcher, eventually dropping to less than seven stone.
Demi has since pulled out of starring as feminist Gloria Steinem in Lovelace - a biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace - and has been replaced by Sarah Jessica Parker.

‘Kaela, they call her a plus-size model. I don’t even know what this word plus means. She’s normal. She’s perfect. She’s beautiful.’
Kaela appeared in semi-reality CW show Remodeled, which featured Paul Fisher.

She has also appeared in Kim and Kourtney Take New York, while her basketball star brother was still dating Kim.

'I felt repulsed and dirty and wanted to kill myself': Schoolgirl victims of teenage girl who dressed as boy to date them speak of their anguish as she is jailed

Gemma Barker used fake profiles on Facebook to lure girls, 15 and 16
  • She wore baggy clothes and hats to hide identity during rendezvous
  • Relationships included 'kissing, cuddling and sexual touching',
  • She wanted to become 'the perfect boy' for each of the victims, court hears
  • Victims reveal their pain in court at 'being told the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with is not real'

Double life: Gemma Barker showed up to the illicit rendezvous wearing baggy clothes and hats to hide her true identity
The schoolgirl victims of a teenage girl who dressed as a boy to date them told of their pain yesterday as their deceiver was jailed for two-and-a-half years.
The pair, aged 15 and 16, believed they had found the perfect boyfriends in Connor McCormack and Aaron Lampard - who they believed were their age.
But their worlds collapsed when they realised that Connor and Aaron were not only the same person, but were in fact their friend Gemma Barker.
Guildford Crown Court heard how Barker, 20, duped the girls, their parents and police by wearing baggy clothes, hats and speaking in a deeper voice.
Even when one of her alter egos was arrested, it wasn't until police gave her a male strip search that they realised 'he' was in fact a girl.
'Nobody understands what it’s like to be told that the person you love and want to spend the rest of your life with is not real,' said one in a victim's impact statement read at Guildford Crown Court before sentencing.
'I just want to stop hurting. What did I ever do wrong to you? I felt repulsive and dirty, it made me angry, I wanted to kill myself, because I couldn’t cope.'
Aaron and Connor were born in 2009 when Barker created fake Facebook profiles with which to lure her teenage friends on dates.
With the rendezvous secured, she showed up wearing baggy clothes and hats to hide her true identity, Guildford Crown Court heard. Barker, dressed as Aaron, even accompanied one of the girls to her family home and met her parents, who knew Barker as a girl.
Her alter-egos became so complex that she even concocted elaborate back stories for them, telling one of her victims that Aaron had lost his mother to a car accident and two brothers, one to leukaemia and the other in a drowning accident.

The court heard how Barker had 'groomed' the girls by pretending to be painfully shy, even restricting communication to text messages when with one of them.
That played upon the victim’s own shyness and was compounded by the alleged boy, Luke Jones, claiming to have bone cancer, the court heard.
Deceit: Miss Barker with Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson. The court heard how she suffers from autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, commonly known as ADHD

Even when one of her alter-egos dumped one of the girls, she created another one, who consoled her and exploited her vulnerability.
Judge Peter Moss said Barker had played with their minds and physically with their bodies, describing what she did as 'sucking on their emotions'.
Her cover was only blown when one of the girls removed Aaron's hat while asleep and realised he and Connor, whom her friend was dating, were the same person. Even then she didn't recognise he was also her friend Gemma.
After Aaron's alleged infidelity, the girls discussed the situation and contacted police.
Officers went to her friend’s home when 'Aaron' was expected and questioned 'him', but he became aggressive and said he had been in a car crash and was in hospital in Kingston-upon-Thames at the time he was accused of being exposed in the girl’s bedroom.
When it emerged there was no evidence of that, 'he' telephoned detectives to say Gemma Barker could provide him with an alibi. The same officer also received an email from 'Luke Jones' confessing to sexually assaulting the younger girl.
When the net was closing in, Barker deliberately fractured her jaw and tried to blame another alter-ego, 'Luke Jones', for attacking her and forcing her to pose as 'Aaron', the court heard.

'On June 9, 2010, the officers arrested who they thought was Aaron Lampard,' said prosecutor Ruby Selva.
'He was patted down and searched by officers and taken into custody as a male but it was only as clothes were taken in the custody suite that it became apparent that it was a female - and this defendant.'

Barker, now 20, of Staines, Middlesex, was told by Judge Moss that she would be in custody for the first half of the term and serve the remainder on licence.
The judge said Barker had admitted that the relationships included kissing, cuddling and sexual touching, adding: 'Nothing that you have ever said to any expert or the police sheds any light on, or provides any understanding of, your motivation for these offences.
'Nor have I nor anyone else seen any flicker of remorse for what you have done.'
Barker showed no emotion as she left the dock to start her sentence, to be served at least initially in a young offenders' institution.
She had previously admitted two counts of sexual assault and one of fraud. The offences took place between November 23 2009 and May 10 2010.
She received 30-month terms for the sexual assaults and three months for the fraud, the sentences to be concurrent.
The judge said Barker's guilty pleas were 'a complete reversal of the position you had held up until then', having previously used 'persistent lies and denials'.

Referring to her first victim, the judge said: 'You, as Aaron, played upon her and her parents' vulnerability, by pouring out to them a saga of lies, including that Aaron’s mother had been killed in a road traffic accident in America, that his brother had died of leukaemia and that another brother had drowned.'
He said it was important to stress that Barker’s deliberate deceitfulness and her disguise were so convincing they fooled not only the victims but their families and friends and also experienced police officers.
'Your cunning and deceptiveness were entirely responsible for the victims being so utterly and cruelly tricked.
'They have nothing for which to reproach themselves.'
She had committed repeated sexual assaults - up to 20 on one girl, by pretending to be a boy, and perhaps half that number on the other girl, using two more male disguises.
The fraud count related to her having tried to get compensation for having been assaulted and seriously injured by one of her fictitious characters, Luke Jones.
During the hearing, Barker's barrister, Chetna Patel, referred to probation and psychological reports which found she suffers from autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, commonly known as ADHD.
'Miss Barker struggles to understand the motives and the intentions of others,' she said, telling the court that her client wanted to become 'the perfect boy' for each of the victims.
The judge told Barker: 'Your deceptions were entirely responsible for the victims being so utterly and cruelly tricked, they have nothing with which to reproach themselves.'

Even experienced police officers who became involved in the case were deceived by her disguise at first, he said.

He added: 'The psychological damage to these innocent young women is self-evident.'

'You have adversely touched their lives,' the judge told Barker.

Ready for the (other) runway! Miranda Kerr is already in model mode as she arrives in Paris for Fashion Week

By Andrea Magrath

She is set to strut her stuff on the catwalk this week, but Miranda Kerr already looked runway-ready when she touched down in Paris today for Fashion Week.
Rather than slumping out of the airport frazzled and exhausted after her long-haul flight, the model, 28, looked like she was about to step on the catwalk.
Miranda wore a chic crochet dress which she held out as she walked, perhaps getting in some practice for the clothes she is about to model.

The Australian beauty teamed the dress with thigh-high leather boots, a black hat and contrasting red handbag.

Miranda was accompanied by two airport staff as she swanned out of Paris-Charles de Gaulle, who assisted her with her five enormous suitcases.
As the Victoria's Secret Angel was landing in Paris, her husband Orlando Bloom was mid-air with their son Flynn, after the pair hopped on a later flight from LAX.

No doubt the actor will be front and centre to cheer on his stunning wife during her shows this week.
The family have been spending time Down Under recently as Miranda worked on some modelling jobs in her homeland and Orlando filmed scenes for The Hobbit in nearby New Zealand.
Due to Orlando's hectic filming schedule, the star has had to spend prolonged periods away from his wife and baby.

But when he's there, the actor says he's a very hands-on father.
He recently told Australia's Kyle and Jackie O radio show: 'Where it is possible I try to make a point of doing it [child-minding] myself.
'He's a baby. I hate to not see him walking and crawling and doing all those things and I just like hanging out with him. It's the nature of our lives.

'Time sort of loses its perspective and where were you and what were you doing.... I don't want that to be that case with Flynn. I really want to have that connection and feel that bond.'
But while he's clearly enjoying his time with his son when he can, the film star isn't slowing down any time soon.
He has just signed up to appear in Jerome Salle's Zulu as a South African cop. Filming is set to begin in Cape Town in July.

You don't need an optical illusion dress! Alicia Keys highlights her trim frame as she flocks to the front row at Stella McCartney

By Iona Kirby

She certainly has no need to make herself look slimmer.
But Alicia Keys opted to take inches off her already trim frame with a trick of the light as she graced the front row at Paris Fashion Week today.
The singer wore a two-tone optical illusion dress by Stella McCartney to attend the designer’s Autumn 2012 ready-to-wear show.

The star donned a black dress with elbow length sleeves and a white panel that highlighted her curves and shaved inches off her midsection, along with matching shoes, to rub shoulders with fashion’s finest.
She was joined at the show by a host of stylish celebrities including actress Salma Hayek, who wore a cream dress under a matching coat which she shed once she was inside the building.
Alicia sat pride of place in the front row next to Stella’s famous father Paul.

And she seemed to be getting along well with the Beatles star as the pair were seen laughing and joking in each other’s company.
She watched appreciatively as the models strutted down the catwalk in a series of structured and stylish outfits, many of which were also optical illusions.

Alicia made sure to find time to catch up with the designer herself and congratulated Stella backstage once the show had wrapped.
While Paul may have been showering Alicia with attention, he let his wife Nancy steal the show in a bright pink shift dress as they arrived at the event together.

Let the TV talent show battle commence! The Voice and Britain's Got Talent set to launch on the same night

By Georgina Littlejohn

As one of the UK's biggest talent shows, there's not much that can come up against Britain's Got Talent on a Saturday night - until now.
Because today it was revealed that the BBC are set to take on the ITV show and launch their new show, The Voice, on the same night.
Both programmes will kick off on Saturday March 24 as the two channels go head-to-head again just like they do for The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing.

Speaking to the Sun, a source at ITV told the paper that the clash would also continue every week and added: 'We haven't declared our launch date but, if I was a betting man, I'd go for March 24.

'The BBC know we always launch BGT around this time.'
But the BBC are said to be annoyed as it believes that ITV have decided on this launch date on purpose.
An insider at the corporation said: 'This is typical of ITV, parking their tanks on our lawn just as we launch a major new format.
'They are smarting because they didn't get the show although they bid £10 million more than us.'

Fashion student, 22, takes on Tesco after they used her face on a children’s jumper without permission

By Jill Reilly
Most fashion students can only dream of getting their work in stores across Britain at the age of 22, but when it happened to Nicola Kirkbride it wasn't quite what she had hoped.
She was shocked to discover a photograph of her face had been lifted from her fashion blog and placed on the front of a Tesco girl’s sweater.
She is now taking on the supermarket giants because they used her the image without permission and printed it on a sweater which was on sale in hundreds of stores around the country.

She said: 'I flattered when I first heard that they had used my image on the sweater, but I was also angry that no one had got in touch with me about it first.
'I was only made aware of it when a girl in England who works at Tesco tagged me in a tweet on Twitter and said she had seen my face on one of the sweaters at her work.
'I couldn’t believe it. So I went down to Tesco myself and sure enough, there it was hanging on the rail.
'I actually bought it there and then. It cost me £12.'
Miss Kirkbride, a fourth year student at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, studying fashion management, said she was yet to receive an explanation from Tesco.
She said: 'I called them asking how this had happened and they phoned me back saying they had absolutely no idea.
'They said they would get back to me on Wednesday, so hopefully it can be all sorted out then.'
Miss Kirkbride from Balmedie, Aberdeen, thought it was strange that Tesco printed her image on a child’s sweater, it has proved a hit with friends and family.

She said: 'I think it’s quite weird, but my friends think it’s quite cool and they’ve all bought one.
'My family too have also been buying it, as it’s the first thing I’ve had in the shops before.'
Miss Kirkbride said she only started her blog for the purposes of her degree and she had no idea a big supermarket chain would start looking for inspiration from it.
She said: 'I had to start a fashion blog for part of my coursework last year at university and I really enjoyed it so much I just kept it on.
'I have managed to build up quite a substantial following and I really enjoyed sharing my views on fashion with similar-minded people.
'So I regularly updated it with photos of myself, which I take with a self-timer on my camera, so people can see what pieces I am recommending.
'But I was completely shocked when someone who had been following my blog said she saw one of my photos at her work in Tesco - on a child’s top.'
