It's been a banner year for Gary
Barlow, between his successful stint on the X Factor, being honoured
with a special National Television Award for his charity work, and
taking charge of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert.
And the good news keeps on coming, with the singer announcing that on Sunday that he is to become a father for the fourth time.
Barlow,
41, announced the happy news via his Twitter account, writing: 'My wife
and I are expecting our 4th child #Anotherowngoal.'

As congratulations from his 1.3
million followers flooded in, he tweeted: 'What a lovely bunch you
are.Thank you for all your kind messages.We are a very excited family.'
Gary told fans that with
his growing brood, he has his eye on yet another plaudit. 'Next goal
'Celebrity Dad of the Year' #moveasideandre,' the Take That star joked,
referring to former winner Peter Andre.
Barlow and his wife Dawn are already parents to Daniel, 11, Emily, nine, and Daisy, three. The couple married in 2000.
Earlier in the day, Gary had hinted
that an exciting announcement was on the way. He tweeted: 'Gorgeous day
in the Capital. I'm announcing some news on here tonight!'
Professionally,
Gary is understood to be in the final stages of negotiating with X
Factor bosses to return to the judging panel this year.
He told the Sun last week: 'I started talks two weeks before the last one finished. We are talking.'
It it is thought that ITV executives are eager to lure him back by upping his £1.5million salary substantially.
It is unknown if a new addition will have any effect on Barlow's decision on whether to return to the show.
