Big hair and tiny attire: Eva Longoria steps out with a voluminous style and parades her pins in a minidress

They say in Texas, their ladies love big hair.
And today Lone Star state native Eva Longoria wore her famous glossy tresses in a voluminous style.
The pint-sized 37-year-old also paraded her slim pins in a tiny navy blue minidress as she ran errands in New York City.

The Desperate Housewives star boosted her small height with a pair of towering black leather platform pumps and carried a Fendi shopping bag, which held what appeared to be a pale pink pashmina.
She also alternated with a tan leather Hermes bag, a leathergood she tends to favour.
Seemingly just had her hair coiffed, Eva was well protected by an umbrella, which was held over her head by a security guard as she made her way around Manhattan.

The actress is currently winding down from ending her stint on her long-running drama series Desperate Housewives.
Last week after an eight series and a spectacular eight year run, the famous faces of Wisteria Lane said a final emotional goodbye.
The cast and crew of the show gathered at the W Hotel in Hollywood, California, for a finale party.
While Felicity Huffman completely stole the show in a figure-hugging red dress, Eva looked stunning in a simple short pink dress, in the exact same style she wore today.
The cut of the dress appears to be a winning one, showing off her enviable figure as it clings to her body in all the right places.

The Texan star, who played Gabrielle Solis on the show, was full of smiles on the night despite the emotional end of the programme which made her a global name.
In fact she and close friend Huffman larked around on the red carpet and shared a joke.
The stars of the show put on their glam outfits to give a fitting end to the long running show, but two of its main actors were noticeable by their absence.

Both Teri Hatcher and Marcia Cross were missing in action as their co-stars Huffman, Brenda Strong, Vanessa Williams and Eva put on a display of unity.
Eva flew back especially for the event from Washington DC, where she attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
'I wouldn’t have missed this for the world,' Eva told Access Hollywood.

'Eight years! Wrapping it up is so hard to do, because it’s just such a big part of all of our lives. It changed my life completely — in every single way.'
She said she and her missing co-stars Hatcher and Cross said their emotional goodbyes on the very last day of filming.
'We got to say goodbye when we filmed,' Eva said. 'Marcia was supposed to be here, but something happened… We’re really close, so I’m going to be seeing a lot of Marcia.'

She added that fans of the show are in for a treat with the finale.
'Wrapping all of it up, took all season. That’s why we wanted to do it this way, knowing this was going to be our last year,' she said.
'So Marc (Cherry) really serviced each of the characters in a way that would satisfy everybody in the end.'
