Blonde bombshell Olivia Wilde channels Marilyn Monroe as she shoots a new Revlon commercial in the streets of Manhattan

She recently dyed her brunette locks a lighter shade and continues to cross over to the fair side.
And with her new flaxen tresses, Olivia Wilde has now channeled another famous blonde.
The 28-year-old bore a resemblance to Marilyn Monroe as she shot a commercial for Revlon cosmetics in rainy New York City today.

In a demure white dress she posed on the pavement in Manhattan.
The sight was somewhat reminiscent to the iconic image of the Fifties star standing over an air shaft in that famous street grate scene from the film The Seven Year Itch.
The actress's complexion was flawless for the latest beauty campaign, with lashings of red lipstick applied to her lips and a slight smokey eye.

The scene shows Olivia emerging from a Brownstone apartment in a beige trench jacket.
Skipping happily down the stairs, she removes her coat to reveal a pretty pleated dress and  continues her jovial walk along the street.
Olivia has been a spokeswoman for the beauty giant since last year, and her first TV spot for the company was last month, when she appeared in a commercial for their PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara.
Recently Olivia revealed her beauty secrets to New York Times’s T Magazine.
She told the publication that washing her face was the number one priority in her beauty regime.
'I usually wash (it) twice. First, to remove all the makeup, and then again to really give my face a good scrub,' she said.

'I like to get it clean at the end of a workday using a good hot towel.'
The actress also said that she prefers to go make-up free.
'In order to give my skin a rest,' she explained.

The star also revealed that she never tweezers her eyebrows, preferring them to grow for several years ungroomed.
'I’ve been letting them grow in for years,” she said.
'I try to fill them in wherever nature has abandoned me. I just fill in under the arch and soften them up a bit.'
